Tommy Tiernan

Race Ball Patron Tommy Tiernan has donned a few hats at the Race Ball over the years from Promoter and Entertainer to Auctioneer. In fact we’ve never quite had an auction like Tommy’s. His performance as auctioneer, bidder and general mayhem maker coupled with his razor sharp wit is a sight to behold. Who said men can’t multitask?

It was undoubtedly one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time; the people were just so friendly, there was nothing stuffy about the atmosphere. We boogied until the early hours. We’re already looking forward to Galway Races 2011.
